For NEW & EXISTING Participants to Join
In collaboration with Dorin Performance Training (DPT) and PEAC Performance, this program is designed to provide student-athletes with progressive high-level instruction to gain strength, weight room awareness, and improve speed and agility. Focus of this program will be on proper body positioning, form, weight room safety (spotting techniques), lifting technique, and personal conduct to build upon a strong fundamental base for athletic participation. Student-athletes will learn to squat, pull (deadlifts and rows), press (bench and overhead), and hinge (olympic lifting progressions). Body weight exercises and introduction to weights (load) will be incorporated in strength training. Various training tools will be utilized to enhance muscle sequencing for building strength and agility for individual and group competitive activities. Exercise prescription will take sport into account and guide each participant to develop into a better athlete.
